Tips for the best protein French toast bites
Here are some tips and tricks on how to make the BEST protein French toast bites.
- When making the protein egg batter, make sure to whisk the protein powder (best if you are using a whisk) very well. This way there won’t be any protein powder lumps left when making your French toast.
- Use slightly stale bread. Slightly stale, dry bread holds up to a dunking in egg batter much better than a soft, fresh slice.
- Soak the bread bites in the egg batter very well. Your protein bread bites will come out even tastier.
- Serve your protein French toast bites when they are still warm.
