FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Can I make microwave bread for more people?

To increase the servings of this keto microwave bread recipe, increase all ingredients proportionally to the number of buns you want to get. I recommend baking smaller bread buns in separate ramekins. Do not make a large loaf!

Can I replace almond flour with coconut flour?

If you want to make keto bread in the microwave but don’t have almond flour, substitute it with 1 to 2 tbsp of coconut flour. But keep in mind that coconut flour is very absorbent. Therefore your bread dough will require 1 to 2 tablespoons of this flour only.

Can I replace almond flour with other flours?

This microwave recipe also works with all purposes flour, spelt flour or wholewheat flour. But keep in mind that starchy flours have more carbohydrates. Your bread will still turn out fluffy and delicious, but it won’t be keto.

How to replace olive oil?

You can replace olive oil with melted butter, avocado oil, walnut oil, canola oil or seed oil. Do not skip for a fluffy and tasty microwave bread!

Can I make keto bread in the air fryer?

Of course! This low carb bread recipe can be prepared either in the microwave, oven (see recipe description) or air fryer. To make air fryer keto bread, bake it in hot machine at 160ºC (340ºF) for 6 to 10 minutes.

You can replace oil with milk, indeed. However, keep in mind that your banana bread won’t be as moist.

Of course you can replace almond flour with oat flour, the result will not change (but the bread will have slightly more carbs).

        Have a great day,
