Keto Microwave Bread without Yeast

Learn how to make keto microwave bread without yeast! Ready in under 90 seconds, this low carb bread in a mug is soft and fluffy. What's more, it is packed with protein and taste. Perfect for a sandwich or as a side dish.

Ingredients

  • 30 grams (1/3 cup) almond flour, defatted (or flour, see notes*)
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • a pinch of salt (to taste)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl stir together almond flour, baking powder and salt. Add egg, olive oil and stir until all is well combined.
  • Transfer keto bread dough to a greased ramekin (9 cm or 3.5 inches diameter) and microwave for 60 seconds to 90 seconds.

Baking Method

  • Bake keto bread in hot oven at 180ºC (350ºF) for 10 - 12 minutes.

Notes

  • You can replace almond flour with all purposes flour, but the bread won't be keto anymore.
