Course: Breakfast, Dessert, Snacks
Cuisine: American
Servings: 9 balls
- 1 ripe banana
- 100 grams (1 cup) oat flour (or oats, see notes*)
- 30 grams (2 tbsp) nut butter of choice
- chocolate chips
In a bowl, mash the ripe banana. When smooth, combine with oat flour (if using rolled oats, please see notes*), nut butter and chocolate chips. Mix the ingredients until you get a soft dough, first with a fork and then using your hands. If the dough is too sticky, add a bit of oat flour more, if too dry, adjust with more nut butter.
Shape some cookie dough balls from the mixture, and decorate with chocolate chips. Serve directly or keep stored in the fridge for a maximum of 4 days.
- If using rolled oats, you first need to turn the flakes into flour. To make oat flour at home, place the rolled oats into a high speed blender and process until the oats have become a fine flour.
