Prep Time5 minutes
Course: Breakfast, Dessert, Snacks
Cuisine: American
Servings: 9 balls

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 100 grams (1 cup) oat flour (or oats, see notes*)
  • 30 grams (2 tbsp) nut butter of choice
  • chocolate chips

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mash the ripe banana. When smooth, combine with oat flour (if using rolled oats, please see notes*), nut butter and chocolate chips. Mix the ingredients until you get a soft dough, first with a fork and then using your hands. If the dough is too sticky, add a bit of oat flour more, if too dry, adjust with more nut butter.
  • Shape some cookie dough balls from the mixture, and decorate with chocolate chips. Serve directly or keep stored in the fridge for a maximum of 4 days.

Notes

  • If using rolled oats, you first need to turn the flakes into flour. To make oat flour at home, place the rolled oats into a high speed blender and process until the oats have become a fine flour.
