Flourless Protein Brownie Mug Cake
This flourless protein brownie mug cake is the ultimate treat for your diet. With no flour and no eggs, this 1 minute protein brownie is low calorie, keto and gluten-free.

- 60 grams (1/4 cup) Greek yogurt
- 20 grams (1/4 cup) protein powder (whey, see notes*)
- 15 grams (1 1/2 tbsp) cocoa powder
- 1/2 to 1 tbsp granular sweetener (erythritol, to taste)
- 1/2 to 1 tbsp water or milk (see notes*)
In a microwave safe mug, stir the Greek yogurt with protein powder, cocoa powder, granular sweetener and water (or milk). Mix well, until all ingredients are combined and the brownie batter has become smooth - if necessary, add more water or milk (based on the protein powder used, see notes*). If you desire, top with chocolate chips.
Microwave on high for 30 seconds to 1 minute, or bake in hot oven at 180°C (350°F) for around 10 minutes. Do not overcook or over-bake, otherwise the brownie will turn out dry.
- This recipe uses whey protein powder. If you wish to make your flourless brownie with vegan protein powder or casein, the recipe may require more water or milk. In this case, adjust with more liquid until you get a smooth brownie
