All you need for this protein brownie batter are five simple ingredients. I promise, you can get everything at any grocery store.

  • Greek yogurt or Skyr (low fat, plain and unsweetened)
  • Cream cheese (low fat)
  • Sweetener of choice (calorie free, I am using erythritol)
  • Cocoa powder (sugar-free)
  • Chocolate chips (sugar-free)

Optionally, you can scoop in some protein powder. If you have it, do so and you’ll get a protein bomb as a dessert. I love preparing my brownie dip with unflavored or chocolate flavored whey protein, but also vegan options are okay.

On the top of that, you might also need little milk to thin the brownie batter. This depends on how firm your yogurt is and on whether you use protein powder.

Making this brownie batter is so quick and simple that will require you no more than 5 minutes. Here’s how to prepare this healthy and high protein brownie dip.

  1. In a bowl combine together Greek yogurt, cream cheese, cocoa powder and sweetener of choice. Optionally, scoop in now protein powder.

Which protein powder do you recommend?

If you want to make a healthy brownie batter which is higher in protein, scoop in your favorite protein powder. I like using unflavored or chocolate flavored whey protein powder, but also vegan powders work. The only thing to keep in mind is that you will probably need to thin the mixture with more milk to consistency.
