Grill: Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
    Broiled: Preheat broiler on high.
Air fryer: Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

Make Fire Roasted Tomatoes

  • Wash the tomatoes throughly, pat-dry, and cut them lengthwise into two halves. Place them into a large mixing bowl.
  • Drizzle the olive oil on top of tomatoes, in the bowl, then add salt, pepper and seasonings of choice. Gently toss tomatoes until they are fully coated in oil and seasonings.

Fire Roast Tomatoes in Oven

  • Drizzle a baking sheet with olive oil or line with parchment paper. Place the seasoned tomato halves on a baking sheet, cut side up, and drizzle with a bit of olive oil.
  • Roast in hot oven for about 40-45 minutes. The tomatoes are ready when they are charred and softened. Let cool before serving.

Grill Fire Tomatoes

  • Place the roasted tomatoes on hot grill grates, cut side up, and grill for about 5 to 10 minutes. The tomatoes are ready when they are charred and softened. Let cool before serving.

Broil Fire Tomatoes

  • Drizzle a baking sheet with olive oil or line with parchment paper. Place the seasoned tomato halves on a baking sheet, cut side up, and drizzle with a bit of olive oil.
  • Broil for about 5-7 minutes until the tomatoes are charred and softened. Let cool before serving.

Fire Roast Tomatoes in Air Fryer

  • Line the seasoned tomato halves in the air fryer basket, cut side up, without overcrowding it. Drizzle with more olive oil, if desired.
  • Air fry for about 10-12 minutes until the tomatoes are charred and softened. Let cool before serving.
