Easiest Greek Yogurt Pizza Dough - 20 Minutes Recipe

Ingredients

  • 120 grams (1 cup) all-purposes flour (plus more for dusting)
  • 120 grams (1/3 cup 1 tbsp) firm Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • pinch sea salt

Pizza Topping

  • 3 tbsp pizza sauce (see notes for details*)
  • 3 tbsp shredded mozzarella cheese (low fat)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • In a large bowl combine all-purposes flour, Greek Yogurt, olive oil, baking powder and pinch sea salt. Quickly stir until it comes to form a dough (add more flour if it is sticky or more Greek yogurt if dough is too dry).

  • Transfer Greek yogurt pizza dough over a clean floured surface and knead to form a soft dough ball.

  • With the aid of a rolling pin and your hands, shape into about a 15 cm (6-inch) round (with edges thicker than center), sprinkling some more flour if it gets sticky.

  • Spread pizza sauce over the Greek yogurt crust and sprinkle on shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake in hot oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until cheese has melted and the pizza crust is golden baked.

Notes

  • For pizza sauce, combine tomato sauce with a drizzle olive oil, pinch salt and a hint of oregano, garlic powder, onion powder each (to taste).
