Air Fryer Salmon Bites

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 250 grams (½ lb) salmon fillets skinless and boneless
  • cooking spray or oil spray

Salmon Marinade

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce low sodium
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp sriracha or hot sauce, to taste
  • 1/2 tsp honey
  • 1/3 tsp garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste, optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for a few minutes.

Cut Salmon into Bites

  • Cut the salmon fillets into bite-sized cubes, approximately 1-inch pieces, and place in a bowl.
  • In a small mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sriracha, honey and garlic powder.
  • Pour the marinade over the fish and toss to coat all salmon bites.

Air Fry Salmon Bites

  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or olive oil.
  • Arrange the salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they do not touch each other. Spray more oil over the fish bites.
  • Cook the salmon bites in hot air fryer for 7 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time.
  • Check for doneness. The salmon bites should be golden brown and crispy on the outside while still juicy and tender on the inside.

Serve

  • Once cooked, carefully remove the salmon bites from the air fryer. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce, a sprinkle of chopped parsley, a squeeze of fresh lemon juice or lime juice.
