Air Fryer Chickpeas

- 15 oz (400 g) can chickpeas drained and rinsed
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp paprika
- ⅓ tsp garlic powder
- ⅙ tsp sea salt or to taste
Optional Seasonings
- onion powder, cayenne pepper, curry powder, Italian seasoning, ground black pepper optional, to taste
Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Drain and rinse chickpeas, then pat dry with a clean kitchen towel or paper towel.
Place the garbanzo beans into a mixing bowl and combine with olive oil, salt and seasonings of choice. Toss until fully coated with oil and spices.I recommend keeping some of the spices for later, see success tip down below. Transfer seasoned chickpeas to the air fryer basket and bake for 12 to 16 minutes, shaking a couple of times while cooking.
Success tip. Right after air frying, plunge into a bowl and toss with more olive oil and extra seasonings. Enjoy air fryer chickpeas crispy!
