Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 apples Honeycrisp and Golden Delicious recommended
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon

Filling and toppings

  • 4 tbsp Greek yogurt or preferred yogurt
  • 2 tbsp chopped walnuts or pecans
  • maple syrup or honey (optional to taste)

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (180°C).
  • Wash and cut apples in half, then core. Use a spoon to scoop out a little extra apple from the inside if needed, to make more room for the filling.
  • Place the apple halves in the air fryer basket, sprinkle with cinnamon and cook for 12-15 minutes, or until they’re tender. You’ll know they’re ready when you can easily poke them with a fork or toothpick.
  • Remove the baked apples from your air fryer and let cool for 2-5 minutes.
  • Add a spoon of Greek yogurt into the center of each, then top with chopped walnuts, a sprinkle of cinnamon and a drizzle of maple syrup. Serve warm and enjoy!
